Cannonball, A.K.A. Experiment 520, is an illegal genetic experiment created by Jumba Jookiba. He is designed to create devastating waves and tsunamis. His one true place is making perfect waves for surfing at the beach. He is voiced by Tress MacNeille.
He was activated when a bird kicked his pod out its nest and it landed in a lake. Lilo and Stitch fear for Kauai because they think he is going to create an island-flooding tsunami, but it turns out that 520 can control his waves and creates one just big enough to send Gantu to San Francisco. He is seen in the episode "Finder" playing poker with Stitch, Yin, Yang, and Richter and at Lilo's slumber party in the episode "Dupe" with Yin, Yang and Richter. He made two cameo appearances in "Swirly" and "Felix". He was also one of the experiments reverted to evil in "Angel", and was part of the "rebellion" in "Checkers".
Cannonball, despite his mischievous nature, is shown to be shy and harmless, and simply loves producing waves and often tsunamis. He also has a tendency not to look before he leaps, though he is capable of controlling the waves he creates. He is rather timid around people, but gets along quite well with others once he gets to know them. Cannonball can also be very loyal and helpful to his friends, joining Stitch's rebellion to fight off Gantu.
Cannonball is a pink experiment, slightly bigger than Stitch, with a big posterior, two spines on his back, black eyes, a round nose, a wide mouth, short ears and a short stubby tail.
Cannonball can create a massive wave or tsunami from any body of water he jumps into. It is also shown that he can control the waves he creates. He walks by bouncing around on his butt.
He can fight enemies by flattening them with his butt.
Cannonball is not particularly fast, and is also shy and harmless.
- Cannonball's pod color is blue.
- Cannonball is described by the experiment computer screen as, "Experiment 520. Primary function: Creates giant waves".
- Cannonball never rolled into a ball in Lilo & Stitch: The Series. However, in Leroy & Stitch, Cannonball was briefly shown to be able to roll into a ball in midair before he was captured by Leroy.
- Cannonball's body appears in the game Jumba's Lab.
