Kauai Airport is an airport seen in Lilo & Stitch: The Series. Many tourists often come here to meet certain people arriving by airplane, or to travel by airplane.
The airport is a modified and genericized representation of the real-life Lihue Airport, which was featured in the original, pre-9/11 ending of the original film.
Background[]
In the episode "Slushy", Lilo and Stitch hang out at the airport during a heat wave, but Experiment 523 (Slushy) is later activated and wreaks havoc by covering the airport, as well as the rest of the island, in snow.
In "Drowsy", Lilo and Stitch meet famous celebrity Regis Philbin at Kauai Airport, where he greets them and asks to see the sights.
In the crossover episode "Lax", the airport becomes Experiment 285's (Lax's) one true place after he was rehabilitated by Lilo and Stitch, and Lilo says goodbye to the Recess Gang there as they prepare to depart.
